MEDIAL EPICONDYLITIS/ GOLFER’S ELBOW
Medial epicondylitis, or golfer’s elbow, is an overuse injury that causes pain on the inner side of the elbow. It results from strain or inflammation of the tendons that attach to the medial epicondyle, often due to repetitive wrist and forearm motions. Symptoms include pain, tenderness, and weakness in the elbow, especially with gripping or lifting. Although it’s commonly associated with golfers, it can affect anyone who performs repetitive motions with the arm. Treatment generally includes rest, ice, anti-inflammatory medications, and physical therapy.
